Zimbabwe - Shona ritual music
Ambuya Nyati (honorific and totem name for Judith Juma), musician -also spirit medium and healer, nobly carries the traditional values and culture of the Shona people of Zimbabwe. Evocative voices mixed with the delicate vibrations of the mbira keys and the buzz from its resonators create sweet sounds, dreamlike melodies which summon the spirits.
